It wouldn't surprise me coming from that idiotIs it true George Bush called Nelson Mandela an African American because he didn't like to use the word black?
African Americans, or ';blacks'; if you will, have a problem. They're dying to have something to belly-ache about. The polite word for them in the 1950s was *****, or colored. Well, they decided that since white people called them that, they didn't like it. So we still have the ';united ***** college fund';, but you can't call them ******, which means ';black';. You can't call them colored either, but you can call them ';people of color';. You can call them ';black';, but someone from India that is blacker isn't ';black';, he's asian.
White Africans who live in the United States are honkies, or crackers, or white trash, but they're not african-american, even though they're african-american. It's all about ';newspeak';.
Americans.. Everybody else is an illegal immigrant.
Nelson Mandela is not an African American, he is an African. I imagine George Bush called him and African because he is from Africa. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin or not wanting to say black. White Africans who are in the states are called Americans if they are citizens, and Africans if they are just visiting.
Probably because of that plus the fact that he's an idiot, plus the fact that he can't speak the English language.
1.) Possible, it very ';Bush-esque';
2.) Whiteys
