Is it true that chewing tobacco can be used to kill worms in dogs?

My puppy has a severe case of round-worms.Is it true that chewing tobacco can be used to kill worms in dogs?
Pleeeeassssseeeee tell me you're joking (you just can't tell sometimes)

On the off chance you're not, I'll just say tobacco does the same thing for dogs that it does for humans - gives them lung cancer.

If you really DO have a dog with worms get the right meds from the vet.

Chalice

you're probably a troll, but then I had a client the other day who gave his dying dog whiskey, so you just never know really. Is it true that chewing tobacco can be used to kill worms in dogs?
Er - you're welcome.

Not chewing tobacco, but , actually cigarettes, but if he doesn't know how to light the cigarette, you may have to help him with that. And be sure he doesn't throw the butt out the window when hes finished.
Well, it might kill the DOG, but the worms would probably still survive.
NOT TRUE... 1800petmeds,, order PANACUR-C in the correct dosage for you pups weight... simple , inexpensive,, well worth it...... do it now
Oh, jeez, don't do this... take the dog to a vet, and have it done professionally. If you can't afford to get proper care for the dog, you can't afford the dog - period. In that case, it's time to get rid of it.
Yeah it will kill the worms if you use the right one. When I was little that is how we wormed our dogs all the time.We only used copenhagen and only in small amounts. But we never used it in puppies. If the worms are bad I definitely suggest going to the vet.I think now that I am older that that is more of a preventative than a cure.I would go to the vet if your not sure.
NO, don't try it if your not sure. Best thing is to take it to the vet. You don't want to take the risk of making your dog even more sick.
Nicotine in any form is toxic to most animals. The best way to tend to any worms is to take a fecal sample to your vet and have the type confirmed and then pay for the right medication to take care of the problem. Especially a puppy as they can be very sensitive to the wrong medication.
yeah but it could hurt your dog 2 alot of rancher u dont have the money to go to a vet do it
No but it will kill the dog and the worms eventually. Get the product, Interceptor, from your vet. This will also keep him/her free of heartworms and some other nasty ones as well. They are chewable and dogs love them (the taste), so it's easy to give it to them without forcing it down their throat.
Could, but it would probably kill your dog too. Get treatment from the vet.
