Is it true that if you have a new sexual partner until you get ';used'; to them you can get reoccurring UTIs?

I have been dating the guy for a couple months now and I keep getting UTi's. He told me its because I haven't gotten used to him yet and it will take time then they will stop. Its been less than a month since my last UTI and it kinda sucks so I'm not sure what to do.Is it true that if you have a new sexual partner until you get ';used'; to them you can get reoccurring UTIs?
Are these UTIs proven by mid stream urine checks or simply periods of time during which you experience urinary symptoms which either go away on their own or settle after your GP gives you an antibiotic, but without a urine specimen being sent to the lab?

If the infections are proven and recurrent you need a urologist to investigate your urinary tract. If they are not,you may be experiencing what is called 'honeymoon cystitis' which I suspect is what your partner may be suggesting.

This is indeed caused by simple inflammation of the urethra following frequent, unaccustomed intercourse. This is helped by maintaining a high fluid intake, passing water and showering or bathing after sex.Is it true that if you have a new sexual partner until you get ';used'; to them you can get reoccurring UTIs?
I have the same problem- I've only been active with one partner, my current boyfriend of almost a year. It's not because something is wrong with him, or you for that matter, some women are just more prone to UTIs than others. I, of course, am one of them :[

Basically, 'bacteria' gets stuck in your urethra, the 'tunnel', per se' that leads urine from your bladder out of your body. Vaginal mucus, semen, sweat, etc, can get stuck in the urethra after having sex, especially if you're into fast, rough sex. Just drink cranberry juice or take AZO Cranberry pills [really cheap, buy them anywhere], becuase cranberry is a naturally acidic fruit and it eliminates bacteria and pee as soon as you can each time after you have sexual intercourse.

It should help a lot! :]
If u keep getting uti's maybe it's something else because you don't keep getting them like that unless something else is going on. Try using a condom with him or a different brand condom, and just make sure you piss before and after sex. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice and try not to put to much soap down their a woman's body cleanses itself.
Have you had this before, with other guys? If not, it's him. Make him wash, and it may be that he either needs to wash his tackle more thoroughly and rinse it off more carefully, or else you are having a reaction to the shower gel or soap he uses.

Otherwise you yourself should have a piddle before and after sex, and drink plenty of water during the day to help flush out the irritants, and you could consider eating cranberries or drinking cranberry juice - this apparently helps.

It's not normal. And the getting 'used' to them is a total myth.
Umm... NO. If your repeatedly getting infections from ';one'; partner thers a problem, and I think the above poster said it in the kindest fashion possible.

Smething just isn't adding up here... Call your Doctor.
Some women are very prone to UTI's when they are sexually activity.

Go to the bathroom and make yourself pee shortly afterwards.
If you meen Urin tract infections then he needs to wash his dick, and you need to consult a doctor.
