I never heard that she stole drugs from a charity until today. Is that true? Does anyone have any information to refute or support that?

Yes she was but not for cocaine, for prescription painkillers after back surgery.


Like any addict, she did what she did because it impairs your thinking.


She went to rehab and is off them now. She admitted to both charges so its not rumor.





Her addiction was more than a few painkillers taken from that charity, don't belittle it because when you do you belittle the strength it takes to wean yourself from them.


A few of our other first ladies have had drug or alcohol problems notably Betty Ford who worked tirelessly to help others with the same problem and brought it out in the open and helped others not in the ghetto to face up to what they were doing.

Cindy McCain had very bad back pain and was prescribed painkillers. Being the busy Business woman she was and is she got addicted (very easy to do). Years back she did take some pain pills from one of her financed charities. Since then she has been to rehab and has continued to run her business. She has several charities around the world that her company supports. She also has an adopted child from a third world country. She is very modest and protects her family from the onslaught of the media. After all she should be a pro for her family has always been fans of the paparazzi.

I think it is a sick person that spreads unsubstantiated rumors the way you do.

She had a prescription drug issue a long time ago. But other than that, she's not some druggie.
i think it was the late 80's or early 90's. she has been clean for several years. pain killers i think it was.
