Is it true that they can detect the location of anyone using his mobile phone?

Can they do that while the mobile is off?

How's that anyway? Is it true that they can detect the location of anyone using his mobile phone?
It is possible , they trace the signal the mobile phone sends to whatever satellite or coverage tower. This might get a little confusing as a mobile phone recieves signal from the tower , but it still has to send a small signal as a request for that coverage pretty much just like when you click a link on a website. When the mobile's off it can only be traced through the passive energy wave released from the battery , which wouldn't be exactly tracing the particular phone but any mobile phone compatible batteries within a certain areaIs it true that they can detect the location of anyone using his mobile phone?
yes!
NO, I DON'T THINK SO!!I DON'T THINK I AM SUCH IMPORTANT!!WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY TO TRAP ME!!THAT'S FUNNY!!
Yes, that's correct, and it also works when the mobile is off. When it's off, your mobile can still receive messages for your combox.
Yes, but obviously not when the phone is switched off
