Sure is.Is it true that if you don't use it you lose it?
Is that a serious question???Is it true that if you don't use it you lose it?
Looking at the spelling of a lot of these questions, isn't it painfully obvious??
Yes. Synapses in our brain fade off if we don't use our brain. Parts of our muscles decline after not being used.
that is bull, who eva told you that is an ***
yes... and the older you are the faster it will happen... look up male menopause
In most cases yes.
Yep..but remember,you only get a bucket and a half...
people retain information by repeated practice. if you dont use it, then the pathways that were used to learn the habit or practice are worn away figuratively speaking. the brain makes new neural pathways when we learn and increases connections. Why do you think we practice math for so long? its by Rote, repitition and recall, you have to do all three.
sure, go and buy a Sharpie. Open the cap and leave it out. After a couple of days try and use it. Chances are you can't. Throw it away. The day after your trash gets picked up take a look into your trash can. It will be gone. Do you know where it is? If so go, cmon go and try and find it. Chances are you cannot, umm sounds to me like you lost it. You didn't use it and than you lost it.
yes, try to do advanced algebra 1 year after high school.
Not with bicycle riding.
it is true..
Haha! Yes.....but you get it back.....as soon as you start using it again. :)
for some things, like your muscle
Miss informed is right. It always comes back to ya.
no not really. it just gets more tense if u dont use it often.
Depends on what ';it'; is.
Absolutely !
indeed
yes
For many things this statement is true. Things you have learned in school but do not use in everyday life have a way of fading out of our mind. If there is no reason to recall skills and knowledge your brain figures that it is unneeded and dumps it.
Pretty much. They say that for people with arthritis--even if it hurts to move your fingers or something, they stress that if you don't use them the use of your fingers will just wither away.
When it comes to languages %26amp; other skills, yes.
In most cases, yeah.
So the doctors say when it comes to sex drive and functionality...
Am I going to be the only answerer not afraid to say ';penis';? If you are referring to the ';it'; in which this question is normally asked, no, you don't actually lose it. It will stay there quite attached (barring unforeseen circumstances). However (assuming you are of age), there is something to be said for regular consensual sex in relation to general health. Studies have shown that those who are sexually active tend to have fewer colds, etc.
Yes, because I used to know how to play the piano really well. I haven't played in years.
