No that is not true. I have eaten the same thing every day for the past year, and since then I have lost 35 pounds. I do exercise every day, though. I'm sure that helps.Is it true your body will get used to the same foods?
Loosing weight is pretty much a simple formula of Energy uptake - Energy consumption = fat loss
So as long as you are not eating more energy then what you need and doing exercise you will see a loss of fat.
So the answer to your question is no, if you look at all the Olympic body builders they pretty much eat the same food day in day out, and they balance their energy needs to grow muscle and loose fat at will for competition all year round
